2018 Was a momentous year
for Project Liberation!
We doubled our impact by serving over 300 women directly and positively reaching hundreds of thousands more!
We continue to disrupt pathways to prison and open doors to dignity and sustainable freedom for ALL women, as they discover that their greatest and most powerful resource is themselves.
When we invest in women, there is a powerful ripple effect: they find their own voices and power, they are able to support their families, give back to their communities, and transform the larger systems that hold women back.
Through advocacy and workshops that fuse life coaching, arts based intervention, meditation and other trauma informed modalities, Project Liberation provides women with the tools they need to reclaim their stories and become catalysts for positive change in their own lives, families and communities.
Every investment made has had its full-intended impact:
The national recidivism rate is over 50%. Not one of our liberated sisters has returned to prison.
100% of our graduates are living in permanent housing.
86% are either seeking higher education or are employed and;
93% are reunited with their children.
